Every lesbian has the story, and knows it all too well. You get involved in some situationship with an absolutely lovely woman, then you figure out she’s talking to a man. Not just any man, but a crusty, most likely white, man. For that lovely woman, there’s a dilemma presented: to go with the wonderful lesbian or the wannabe indie boy. Bi women, this is for your consideration—the pros and cons of both choices.

Pros

• Male validation? 

• Way less emotion. It’ll be like talking to a brick wall. If that’s what you want, then go for it! 

Cons

• Dating/hooking up this man will make his ego skyrocket. You will end up hating him. Or at least all of your friends will. 

• Great chance that they either: won’t want to go to concerts with you, or will go but won’t know literally any of the words except maybe one song

• They might be lowkey homophobic or could fetishize your bisexuality, rarely in-between

• Most likely doesn’t shower enough

• Will probably touch his keyboard more than he touches you

• Will lower your standards like crazy

Pros

• Emotional maturity

• They will know all of your interests inside and out

• They’re not a man 

• There’s a greater chance that they know your pain when you’re on your period and will be the most loving 

• You’ll be following the 4B movement (if that’s still a thing?)

• You will actually have orgasms! 

Cons

• Lots of emotional entanglement (aka worst heartbreak of your life)

Overall, these are just to suggest, but seriously ruminate on these. You deserve better, and that is most likely not him.
